Welcome to my place on the web! I am so glad to have you here at Shoreline Journeys! It is my safe harbor and where I get creative on the web about my travels. Where Did The Name Shoreline Journeys Come From?

That is an absolutely amazing question and I have an answer for it. One of my favorite places to visit with my family is Wildwood NJ. To me, there is nothing more soothing or relaxing than time at the beach. From early morning walks:

And, of course, amazing food:

Wildwood is the place where our entire family goes to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. To recover from losses too painful share. It’s a place where we reconnect and laugh and enjoy each other’s company. There is a small shop on the Boardwalk where you can get all kinds of cute home decor. Wall signs, wooden art, and even coasters, too. It is simply called Shorelines and it is a place where I stop each and every year on the Boardwalk.

Now that my husband and I are older, we are taking the time for more alone time together. To visit new places, to spend time with one another, and to just be. You can say that we have entered the Journeys portion of our life cycle. My husband is my best friend. He is the person that has seen me through the best of times, and the one that would not let me give up in the worst of times. He never gave up on me even when I have given him reason to and he has never, ever let me give up on myself.

Change Is On The Horizon

When the opportunity to sell Juggling Midlife came up, he was the one that talked me through everything that I was feeling. And the one that planted the seed that there could be something new on the horizon for me.

He is the one that has indulged my desire to start traveling to Sandals Resorts twice a year and has encouraged me in this new phase of my career. He helped see that I was following a hidden dream in my heart, and he is the one that is helping me to believe in myself and that I can succeed in this new endeavor.

So late one night, or maybe during a frantic shelving session at work, the name Shoreline Journeys came to me. It encompasses a safe haven I visit and my desires to be able to travel more and see more of the Caribbean. To try different resorts. To experience new things. To combine two things that I love very much and make a go of it. Which brings me here, ready for what the future will bring.
