Time To Travel Link-Up Party: August 2025 Edition
I can’t believe that it is August already! This Summer has flown by so quickly. I remember sharing things during Spring, and here we are, about to embark on our final big trip of the Summer of 2025. In fact, I am in process of getting ready to head to the airport as this post is going live.
Of course we are heading to Sandals Resorts, which you know is one of our favorite vacation places. This time we are heading to a new-to-us resort on the island of St. Vincent’s and the Grenadines. I have heard so many AMAZING things about this resort, so I am anxiously anticipating our arrival.

One of the things that is making this trip to Sandals Resorts so special is that we are traveling with friends we met back in 2021 at Sandals Grande St. Lucian. We immediately hit it off and have been friends ever since. So when this opportunity to travel together again came up, we made it a group event. Other Sandals friends who I have met in real life will be there too, so it should be a great time!
I find it interesting on how I am so much looking forward to this vacation. I have had one of the best month’s as a travel advisor with client bookings. And I feel like I have connected with so many of the client’s during the process. It is SO much fun helping the honeymoon couples with this important decision. Hearing the excitement in their voice and the happiness, it just means a lot.
And it is also is really neat to hear their excitement when I mention that my husband and I just celebrated 28 years of marriage. So many of them can’t believe it and I have been told that I sound “too young to be married that long”. Ha ha, it’s definitely my Gen X upbringing shining through.
What’s New In My World
Right now, it is consisting mainly of just trying to enjoy my vacation. When I get home, September starts a lot of travel for my clients, so my goal is to make sure everyone is ready to go and that they have all the information they need. I think that is definitely a favorite part of my job.
It’s amazing how grateful clients are when I do things. All I know is, it’s part of my job. I wish I would have known a lot of it when I started traveling to Sandals Resorts, which makes helping them feel like I am just doing what I am supposed to. But it really does mean a lot to me to be so appreciated.

A Quick Recap From Our July Trip To Sandals Royal Bahamian
As you know from last month’s link up, hubs and I took a quick trip to Sandals Royal Bahamian for the first time. I have a whole series that will be coming out on it, so make sure you check back in here in October.
We had a lovely room and lovely view, and I couldn’t be happier with the room we got. It was the first trip I traveled as a travel agent, so you don’t know what you get until you get there. I feel like we definitely hit the jackpot!

The island there was my favorite part.

In October, make sure you stop back on the blog, as I plan on sharing about our resort experience. I will cover our room, restaurants, and things to do!
