Sebastian’s Bistro At Disney Caribbean Beach Resort: A Dinner More Disney World Guests Should Know About

Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort is one of those Disney World restaurants that doesn’t seem to get talked about nearly as much as it should. There are no characters making their way around the dining room, it isn’t inside one of the parks, and it doesn’t have the same buzz surrounding it as some of the restaurants everyone seems to book. It is simply a really good place to sit down and have dinner.

We ate at Sebastian’s Bistro while staying at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort, and having dinner right at our resort was part of what made the evening so nice. After spending the day at Disney World, we could come back, take a break and head over to Old Port Royale when we were ready to eat. Once dinner was finished, we were already back at the resort with nowhere else we needed to be.

Sebastian’s Bistro serves a family-style dinner with Caribbean and Latin-inspired flavors, and there is a lot of food involved. The meal starts with those pull-apart rolls you may have already heard about, followed by salad, several different proteins and sides, and finally a coconut-pineapple bread pudding. If you have scrolled past Sebastian’s Bistro while looking at Disney World reservations because you weren’t quite sure what it was, here’s what dinner is actually like.

After eating at Sebastian’s Bistro during our stay at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort, I came home with plenty to share about the restaurant. From how the family-style dinner works to making the reservation fit into a Disney World trip, I’m sharing our experience along with everything I learned before and during our dinner. Hopefully, it helps you know what to expect before you sit down for your own meal.

There are always a few questions that come up when you’re planning a Disney World restaurant for the first time, and Sebastian’s Bistro is no different. Some of these didn’t need their own section above, but the answers are still helpful to have before your dinner.

A Few More Things To Know Before Eating At Sebastian’s Bistro

By now you know what dinner at Sebastian’s Bistro looks like, but there are still a few smaller details that can make planning your meal easier. These are the kinds of questions that may not determine whether you make a reservation, but they are helpful to know before you show up at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort for dinner.

Sebastian’s Bistro is pretty straightforward once you know how the family-style dinner works, and that is part of what I like about it. You don’t need a complicated dining strategy to eat here. Make your reservation, show up hungry and give yourself enough time to enjoy dinner without immediately rushing off to whatever comes next.

Where Is Sebastian’s Bistro At Disney Caribbean Beach Resort?

Sebastian’s Bistro is located at Old Port Royale, the main hub of Disney Caribbean Beach Resort. The resort lobby, Centertown Market, Banana Cabana and the Fuentes del Morro Pool are all in this same general area. If you are staying at the resort, you are probably going to find yourself at Old Port Royale several times during your trip anyway.

Just remember that Disney Caribbean Beach Resort is a very large resort. Depending on your village and building, Old Port Royale could be a comfortable walk or quite a bit farther than you feel like walking after spending the day at Disney World. There is an internal resort bus, so you do have another option if your room is farther away.

You also don’t have to be staying at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort to eat at Sebastian’s Bistro. The resort’s location on the Disney Skyliner makes this a pretty easy restaurant to visit from several other places around Disney World.

Getting To Sebastian’s Bistro Is Pretty Easy

Disney Caribbean Beach Resort is the main hub of the Disney Skyliner, which makes Sebastian’s Bistro particularly convenient if you are coming from EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can leave the park for dinner, ride over to Disney Caribbean Beach Resort and walk over to Old Port Royale. If you still have some park time left in you afterward, you can always head back.

It is also an easy dinner to consider if you are staying at Disney Riviera Resort, Disney Pop Century Resort or Disney Art of Animation Resort. Instead of trying to figure out resort-to-resort bus transportation, you can use the Disney Skyliner, spend a little time looking around Disney Caribbean Beach Resort and then head to dinner.

I would still leave yourself some extra time before your reservation. Weather can affect Disney Skyliner operations, and Disney World transportation always seems to take longer when you absolutely need to be somewhere. Dinner is much more enjoyable when you aren’t arriving stressed because you gave yourself exactly enough time to get there.

I Really Like The Family-Style Dinner Here

One thing I really liked about Sebastian’s Bistro was the family-style dinner. There wasn’t much to think about once we sat down. The food came to the table, we shared everything, and for a little while we weren’t checking the time or thinking about where we needed to be next. Especially on our first night at Disney World, that was a really nice way to start the trip.

My husband and I ended up spending a lot of dinner talking about everything we wanted to do over the next few days. We talked about what we wanted to see, where we wanted to go, the things we were most excited about and, of course, all the other food we wanted to eat. You can make all the plans you want before a Disney World vacation, but once you’re actually there, the conversation changes. Suddenly you’re talking about what sounds fun right now instead of what sounded good when you were planning the trip from home.

That ended up being one of the things I really enjoyed about our dinner at Sebastian’s Bistro. It gave us time on that first night to sit together, talk about the trip ahead of us and get excited about everything we still had coming. We didn’t make some brand-new itinerary over dinner, and we weren’t trying to plan every minute. We were just talking about Disney World and all the things we wanted to do while we were there, which was a pretty great way to start our vacation.

Let’s Talk About Those Pull-Apart Rolls

The first thing to arrive is the house-baked pull-apart rolls with guava butter and caramelized onion jam. If you have read anything about Sebastian’s Bistro before making your reservation, there is a pretty good chance someone has already mentioned the bread.

The rolls are warm and soft, and having two completely different things to put on them makes it very easy to keep eating. The guava butter adds sweetness, while the caramelized onion jam goes in a more sweet-savory direction. Of course, the logical thing to do is try each separately and then put them together.

The only problem is that this is the very beginning of dinner. It is easy to keep pulling off another piece while you’re sitting around talking, only to remember that an entire family-style feast is still coming. Enjoy the bread, but pace yourself. You are going to need some room later.

The Spice Necklace Salad Comes Next

After the rolls comes the Spice Necklace Salad, which currently includes mixed greens, spiced candied pumpkin seeds, tropical fruit, radish and Key lime dressing. After eating more of those rolls than you probably planned to, having something lighter come out next is actually pretty nice.

I like that the salad goes with the rest of the meal instead of feeling like the random salad course they had to throw in there. The tropical fruit and Key lime dressing give it plenty of flavor, and the candied pumpkin seeds add some crunch. There is enough going on that it isn’t just a bowl of greens you pick at while waiting for the main food to show up.

And I know, it’s salad at Disney World. Nobody is booking Sebastian’s Bistro because they heard they absolutely have to try the salad. But I wouldn’t skip over it either. It is fresh, it tastes good, and it is exactly what I want between those pull-apart rolls and everything that comes next.

Then The Island Feast Hits The Table

The Island Feast is the main part of dinner, and this is when you realize just how much food is included. The current menu features oven-roasted chicken with Caribbean barbecue sauce, slow-cooked mojo pork with mango sambal, chili-rubbed beef with chimichurri and baked fish with tomato salsa and citrus butter.

This is what I really like about the family-style setup. You don’t have to choose one. Take some chicken, try the pork, have a little beef and taste the fish. Then go back for more of whatever you liked best. If you are the person who orders an entrée and immediately thinks the other person’s dinner looks better, Sebastian’s Bistro takes care of that problem.

The proteins are served with cilantro rice and beans, seasonal vegetables and sweet plantains, so the table gets pretty full once everything arrives. The rice and beans work with all of the different proteins, while the plantains add some sweetness. There is enough variety that everyone doesn’t need to agree on a favorite for the meal to work.

And if you are wondering about the spice level, we didn’t find the food too spicy at all. Some of the descriptions on the menu may sound like they have a lot of heat, but that wasn’t our experience. Everyone is different when it comes to spice, of course, but for us it wasn’t something we even thought much about once we started eating.

You Can Add Even More Food If You Really Want To

There are also a couple of extras you can add to the meal if something catches your eye. Right now, those include a crab cake with tropical mango slaw and guajillo aioli and fried coconut shrimp with sweet chili sauce. They do cost extra, so they aren’t included with the regular Taste of the Caribbean dinner.

You really don’t need to add anything, though. There is already a lot of food coming to the table between the bread, salad, four proteins and all of the sides. The family-style meal is plenty on its own, especially when you know dessert is still coming.

But if you love crab cakes or coconut shrimp and one sounds good, go for it. I just wouldn’t order one because you’re worried there won’t be enough food. There will be. And personally, I’d rather save some room for dessert.

You Have To Save Room For The Bread Pudding

By the time dessert came out, we had already eaten a lot, but there was no way we were skipping the coconut-pineapple bread pudding. It comes out warm with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, and that caramel sauce was so good.

My husband still talks about this bread pudding months later, which probably tells you more than anything I could say about it. This was easily one of his favorite parts of dinner, and I have a feeling he would go back to Sebastian’s Bistro for the bread pudding alone. So even when you think you are completely full, at least try it. Share it, have a few bites, whatever you need to do. Just don’t get all the way through dinner at Sebastian’s Bistro and miss the bread pudding.

I also like that dessert is included with dinner. There is no passing around another menu or trying to decide if anyone still wants dessert after everything you just ate. The bread pudding comes to the table, everyone can have some, and you don’t have to think about it. It works really well with the whole family-style dinner.

The Drinks At Sebastian’s Bistro Are Fun Too

You can order drinks throughout dinner, of course, but the cocktail menu deserves a mention because Sebastian’s Bistro leans into Caribbean rum. The menu has included choices such as the Caribbean Smuggler, Tallawah Punch, Goombay Smash, Caribbean Mai Tai and a rum-based piña colada. There has also been a rum flight where you can sample three different Caribbean rums.

There are beer, wine and sangria options as well, along with some fun non-alcoholic drinks. The Sebastian Island Paradise combines passion fruit, orange and guava juices, while the Flounder Colada of Reason has pineapple, coconut and banana with orange-flavored ice cream. If you aren’t in the mood for another soda, there are some more interesting choices.

The specialty drinks do cost extra, so keep that in mind if you’re watching what you’re spending on food and drinks at Disney World. For me, though, this is a fun place to order a tropical drink with dinner, especially when I know we’re not heading somewhere else right afterward.

What If Someone At The Table Needs Something Different?

Having a family-style dinner doesn’t mean everyone at the table has to eat exactly the same thing. Sebastian’s Bistro has options for different dietary needs and preferences, including an alternative version of the family-style meal. So if something on the regular menu doesn’t work for you, don’t assume that means you have to skip the restaurant altogether.

Disney also provides allergy-friendly information for several common allergens, but this is one area where I would always ask questions when you get there. Menus and ingredients can change, and what worked for someone on a trip six months ago may not be exactly what is available during yours. If there is something you need to avoid or something you simply don’t eat, talk with the Cast Members at Sebastian’s Bistro about the current options rather than trying to piece everything together from old menus online.

And because this is family-style dining, I would bring it up before everything starts arriving at the table. That gives the restaurant a chance to explain how your meal will be handled and lets you relax and enjoy dinner instead of wondering which dishes work for you. Disney World restaurants deal with all kinds of dining needs every day, so ask the questions you need to ask and find out what Sebastian’s Bistro can do for you.

What About Sebastian’s Bistro With Kids?

Sebastian’s Bistro can be a fun family dinner because everyone is sharing from the same table instead of ordering completely separate meals. Kids can try a little of whatever looks good to them, go back for more of something they like or leave something alone if it isn’t for them. Parents know what their own kids will eat better than anyone, so I would take a look at the current menu before making a reservation and see how it looks for your family.

One thing I do like about family-style meals at Disney World is that kids don’t have to make a big decision about something they may have never tried before. There are several different foods on the table, and they can decide what looks good once they see it. If you already know your kids have certain favorites or foods they would rather skip, checking the menu ahead of time takes some of the guesswork out of dinner.

There are no characters at Sebastian’s Bistro, which is also good to know when deciding where you want to use your dining time. If meeting characters at dinner is important to your family, save that experience for one of Disney World’s character meals. If you already have character dining planned elsewhere and want a night where everyone can sit down and talk about the day, Sebastian’s Bistro gives you something completely different.

Do You Need A Reservation For Sebastian’s Bistro?

I would make a reservation if you know you want to eat at Sebastian’s Bistro. You may find openings closer to your trip, but I wouldn’t count on walking over at dinner time and getting a table. We already knew we wanted to eat here on our arrival night, so I booked it ahead of time and didn’t have to think about it once we got to Disney World.

If you don’t see the time you want, check again later. People change their Disney World dining reservations all the time, especially as park plans start moving around. I’ve learned not to give up on a restaurant just because the time I want isn’t there the first time I look. Check again as your trip gets closer because something may open up.

I also wouldn’t plan anything important too close to dinner. You may not be seated right at your reservation time, and the last thing I want is to spend dinner checking my phone because we’re supposed to be somewhere else. If you want to see fireworks, have a Lightning Lane booked or have something else you don’t want to miss, leave enough time between the two. It makes the evening a lot easier.

Where Sebastian’s Bistro Fits Into A Disney World Trip

You don’t have to be staying at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort to make Sebastian’s Bistro work. If you are staying anywhere along the Disney Skyliner, this is an easy dinner to add without spending half the evening trying to get from one resort to another. Disney Riviera Resort, Disney Pop Century Resort and Disney Art of Animation Resort are all connected, so you can hop on the Skyliner, come over for dinner and head back when you’re finished.

I also really like Sebastian’s Bistro as a break during an EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios day. Maybe you have been in the park since the morning and by late afternoon everyone is ready to sit somewhere that isn’t inside a theme park. Take the Skyliner over, have dinner and see how everyone feels afterward. If you want to go back for nighttime plans, great. If everyone looks at each other after dinner and says, “Nope, we’re done,” that works too.

I probably wouldn’t choose Sebastian’s Bistro on a Magic Kingdom or Disney’s Animal Kingdom day unless I had another reason to be over at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort. You certainly can get there, but with so many Disney World restaurants to choose from, I don’t see the point in adding extra transportation when you could save Sebastian’s Bistro for a day when you are already somewhere along the Skyliner.

Sebastian’s Bistro Was Perfect For Our Arrival Night

We booked Sebastian’s Bistro for our first night at Disney World, and I would do that again in a heartbeat. We were staying at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort, so after traveling and getting ourselves settled, the last thing I wanted to do was turn around and travel somewhere else for dinner. We could get to the resort, deal with the luggage, get into our room and know that dinner was right there at Old Port Royale.

We also had the Disney Dining Plan, which made the decision even easier. I knew we wanted to use one of our table-service meals that night, and Sebastian’s Bistro was sitting right there at our resort. There was no reason to make arrival day more complicated by heading to another resort or trying to squeeze in a park night just because we were finally at Disney World.

Arrival day always looks so much more ambitious when you’re planning it from home. You start thinking, “Maybe we’ll go to EPCOT for a few hours, ride a couple of things, have dinner and stay for fireworks.” Then you actually get to Disney World with your luggage after a day of traveling and suddenly dinner at your own resort sounds fantastic. We kept that first night simple, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

How Much Does Dinner At Sebastian’s Bistro Cost?

As of August 2026, the Taste of the Caribbean dinner is $39 per adult and $21 per child ages 3 through 9, before tax and gratuity. Even though we were using the Disney Dining Plan, I still like knowing what a meal would cost if we were paying for it ourselves. Disney World food gets expensive fast, and $39 per person is still $39 per person.

We used one table-service meal from our Disney Dining Plan for Sebastian’s Bistro, and I was very happy using it here. If you have the Dining Plan and don’t really feel like paying $39 per adult out of pocket for dinner, use the credit. That was part of the reason I was happy to book Sebastian’s Bistro for our arrival night. We already had the Dining Plan, we needed dinner, and we had a table-service restaurant right at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort.

If you aren’t using the Disney Dining Plan, at least you know the price before you make the reservation. Just remember that specialty drinks and any extras you add aren’t part of that $39, and gratuity is separate. For us, using a table-service meal here made the decision really easy.

Specialty drinks and the optional food additions will increase the total, of course, but you don’t need either one to make this feel like you are getting the most out of your dining reservation. There is already a lot coming to the table for the regular price.

Sebastian’s Bistro Is More Fun When Everyone Wants To Try Everything

This is a great dinner to have with friends who like trying different foods and passing plates around the table. If your group is normally saying, “Here, try this,” before everyone has even finished their first bite, family-style dining is going to work really well for you. Nobody has to stare across the table wishing they had ordered what someone else did.

I love character meals and heavily themed Disney restaurants, but I don’t need that every single night of a trip. Sometimes we want a drink, good food and time to talk about everything we did that day without stopping for pictures every few minutes. And honestly, just having the meal with my husband made it more enjoyable. The food was even better than we were expecting, especially the pork with the pineapple slaw.

If you have really picky eaters in your group, I would check the menu before making a reservation. If everyone is already struggling to find something they would eat, pick somewhere else. There are way too many restaurants at Disney World to spend a night trying to convince someone that they’re going to like dinner.

Why I Would Go Back To Sebastian’s Bistro On Our Next Visit

I would eat at Sebastian’s Bistro again. I originally booked it because we were staying at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort, it was our arrival day and we had the Disney Dining Plan. After traveling all day, having dinner right at our resort sounded like a good idea, and it worked out exactly the way I hoped it would.

Even if we weren’t staying at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort, I would still come back for dinner. We had a great time, I enjoyed the food, and I left with a full belly and a warm heart. There are still so many Disney World restaurants I want to try, so going back to the same one is always a hard choice. Sebastian’s Bistro is one I would repeat. If it works with our plans on another Disney World trip, I would book it again. And if we’re staying at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort again, it will be one of the first places I look at for dinner.

Sebastian’s Bistro ended up being one of my favorite parts of our stay at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort. Now that I’ve eaten there myself, I understand why so many people love it, and I’m glad we made it part of our trip.
