Seaside Haven With Shoreline Journeys: March 23rd Edition
Happy Sunday everyone! It’s hard to believe that we are starting a new week already! I actually have nothing to complain about, this has been such an amazing week for my travel business! I will definitely get into it more shortly, so grab your favorite drink and get comfy.
I love that each of the days are longer than the next. It’s amazing what an extra hour of sunlight will do for you when you are feeling a bit down in the dumps because you are ready for open windows and Spring breezes. Anyone else feel that way sometimes? Make sure you leave a comment and let me know what you do to combat the blues.

Getting Outside & Daydreaming About Vacation
The warmer weather has finally arrived, and I’ve been loving getting outside for a few walks. That fresh air and sunshine just feels so good after being cooped up all winter.
But every time I’m out there, I keep thinking how much I’d rather be packing a suitcase and heading somewhere with palm trees and ocean views. Honestly, I wish I was airing out my luggage and counting down the days to vacation.
This time of year always has me ready to go somewhere new and soak up all those vacation vibes. Anyone else feeling the same way?
Is It Time To Travel Yet?
A fellow traveler that loves Sandals Resorts as much as I do is only a few weeks away from her trip to Antigua. I am so happy for her, yet jealous too. Our trip is getting closer and I am so ready to be there. I am currently working on my butler preferences for our trip, and helping my clients work on theirs, as well. It’s a lot of fun!
I am super excited for our trip to Chicago next month. I still need to work on a few details, like how we are getting from the airport to the hotel, and back and forth from the stadium. My guess is probably Uber, since it is easy to do once you land. I may try to schedule the Uber before we go. Has anyone ever done that? Does it work? I have a busy workday tomorrow, but I am going to try looking into it later in the week when I have some downtime.
What’s Going On At Shoreline Journeys?
As I mentioned above, it’s been a really amazing week this week for my business. I had a banner week for new client bookings. I pretty much did the same amount that I do in 3 months, in just one week! And I managed to get my first co-branded booking through my website. I am really excited for my couples that booked. So many anniversaries and honeymoon trips! YAY!
I feel like I was totally blessed this week. One of my bookings was a referral from another client, and my current client decided to book a second trip before he went on his first because he trusted my expertise. I can’t tell you how happy that made me feel! This new career change has been good for me. And I can’t wait to continue this success!

New On The Blog This Week
If you are a regular reader of Shoreline Journeys, you may have noticed a new layout to my homepage and a new color scheme. I am trying to get a more coastal beach theme to my website, and I am curious to know what you think of it. Does it say tropical vacation or not? I would love get some feedback on it. If you don’t want to post it here, feel free to share your thoughts via email at jennifer@shorelinejourneys.com.
I had a really productive week with writing this week. I am really trying to make sure I am bringing informative and useful information for my readers. Here’s what I posted this week:
- Friday Night Magic: The Sesame Street Parade & Beach Party at Beaches Turks & Caicos
- Thursdays With Shoreline Journeys: March 20
- What Makes Sandals Dunn’s River Unique: The Only Sandals Dunn’s River Review You Need To Read
- Camp Sesame at Beaches Turks & Caicos: Where Little Travelers Meet Sesame Street & Parents Find Peace
While it wasn’t a lot of posts, I really was concentrating on the quality of the content. This week is also going to be heavily focused on our vacation trip at Beaches Turks & Caicos. There was just so much from that resort that I had to break it up into lots of posts.
A Look Ahead At Next Week
My goal for the following week is to go back and share all about our Sandals Royal Curaçao vacation last year, as well as our time in Willemstad. So much content to share and so much work to be done! I love it.
Now that I have you updated for the week, it’s time to get moving. Our pastor is preaching her final sermon as our Pastor. And we are going to a friend’s house for a belated St. Patty’s day party and parade. I hope that you have a wonderful week and check back for some new content!
