Seaside Haven With Shoreline Journeys: March 2026 Edition
Hey everybody! Yes I am still here, work life has taken over for me and I have been really behind in updating the website with new travel content. I have had a lot of clients traveling, and helping other prepare for their trips, so the blog has taken a backseat. It is definitely not what I intended, but I hope to get that remedied soon.
Next week starts the beginning of my 2026 travel season. I am headed to Disney World for a work trip since I completed my Disney College of Knowledge training. I am so excited to be experiencing staying on a resort hotel, visiting all 4 parks, and finishing out our trip with a stop in Disney Springs. It’s been 10 years since we have been there last, and there is so much I need to catch up on.

Shoreline Journeys participates in affiliate marketing programs. I may receive a small commission from any purchases you make through links on this blog. Please see my full disclosure policy for more information.
I know that so many of readers are probably experienced Disney Adults, and I would love to hear your favorite tips. Do you have a favorite snack? Is there one ride that you just can’t miss? Or is there an experience that you found that just isn’t worth the hype? I would love it if you would leave a comment and share your wisdom.
What’s New For The Business?
I am working on new outlets for finding clients who are interested in Sandals & Beaches Resorts vacations. I am stepping way out of my comfort zone by going to some local vendor events to talk to potential clients about the value of a Sandals or Beaches Resorts vacation for their next trip. I feel like the face-to-face interactions and true accounts of what a vacation is like will be a good thing.
I also update my home page to make it more user-friendly with easier navigation. While it was a lot of work, I think it now reflects the purpose of my website, instead of just a bunch of random links to my content. Let me know what you think.
Helping clients with their trips has been a big part of my Winter season. As many of you know, Jamaica was hit with a devastating hurricane that forced 3 of the island’s resorts to close for repairs. I had clients that I moved to later in 2026 and to other resorts. Well earlier this month, Sandals Resorts announced a multi-million dollar investment in upgrading these closed resorts that necessitated the resort to have a later opening date. I had several clients affected, and thanks to my wonderful support team at the resort, all of my moves have been completed. I am truly excited to see the changes, as I have bookings for myself over the next two years.

In other big news, because I continue to concentrate on selling Sandals and Beaches Resorts as my main focus, I am excited to say that I have been approved to get my car wrapped! It is a great way to have that Sandals & Beaches Resorts feeling all year round, while getting to advertise my business and help get customers to the Caribbean. And that leads me into a very important thought: I not only sell Sandals & Beaches Resorts, but I live it too!
What Does It Mean When I Say I “Live Sandals & Beaches Resorts” And Not Just Sell It
As a travel agent, I specialize mainly in selling Sandals & Beaches Resorts. But unlike a lot of agents out there, I spend my own money on my vacations to both Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts. We started our love affair in 1997, when we visited Jamaica for the first time and stayed at Sandals Royal Jamaican (now Sandals Royal Caribbean) for our honeymoon. Life kind of took over, and we didn’t return until 2017 for our 20th anniversary where we renewed our vows.
That trip started our vacations at Sandals Resorts. What started out as an every other year trip has now morphed into multiple trips per year. Yes, I have traveled on discounted travel agent points, like our trip to Sandals Royal Bahamian in July 2025. But those aren’t opportunities that I get to utilize often.

Instead, my husband and I make the conscious decision to prioritize our time together by going on resort vacations with our hard-earned money. This means, I am experiencing the resorts as a paying guest, just like you. And I feel like it gives me an unique advantage as a travel advisor, because let’s face it, these vacations are not cheap. So if I am willing to spend my own money, you know it is something that I wholeheartedly enjoy and think there is great value in it.
Being on resort as frequently as we are, gives me the advantage of knowing how things work. From check-in to check-out, I can guide you through the entire process so you are prepared to just go and enjoy. Not having to think about anything except what I want to eat or what my next drink is why I will continue to book our vacations at Sandals and Beaches Resorts, and why you should too!
Coming Up In 2026
Up first is Disney World, of course. I am making lists and plans and I know that I am not going to be able to fit it all in 4 days. I have been busy learning how to use the app, and trying to decide on my Lightning Lanes. It is a lot of information and I am so ready to experience it all. As far as dining, this is what we have reserved:
- Sebastian’s Bistro Dinner
- The Crystal Palace Dinner
- Oga’s Cantina for a lunch reservation
- Tutto Italia Ristorante Dinner
- Frontera Cocina Dinner
So much to do, so little time. Make sure you are following me on my Facebook and Instagram pages if you want to see some of these adventures!

Up next in May is our trip Sandals Halcyon Beach in St. Lucia. We are headed their for our 29th wedding anniversary, and also experiencing our free week. If you want to know how to earn a free week, then take a moment to read this resource on Sandals Select rewards.
We have been to St. Lucia before at Sandals Grande St. Lucian, so I am very excited to be back on this island. Our plan is to visit both Sandals La Toc and revisit Sandals Grande St. Lucian for some of the dining and to see the changes since we were last there in 2021. This resort will always be special to us because it is where we stayed in our first swim-up suite and met our travel besties.

June brings us to our favorite family vacation to Wildwood NJ. I don’t know what else to say about this trip that I haven’t already said a million times. It may not be the most expensive or fanciest vacation we have been on, but the memories we make here are ones we talk about in the dead of Winter when PA is dumping tons and tons of snow on us.

Each year we are there, we love to see what is new and what has stayed the same. A big part of our vacation is spent eating and talking about eating. We have our favorite restaurants that we visit each year, and have favorite meals as well. If you are heading to Wildwood, definitely check out these:

And that is just a few of them!
Once July hits, then it’s time to head back to one of my favorite Sandals Resort: Sandals Grande Antigua! We were here in 2022 for our 25th wedding anniversary and it quickly became one of my absolute favorites! I love the size of the resort, the food choices are amazing, and they have tons of resort kitties.
This year we are doing one of those bucket list rooms that we wouldn’t normally do. I wanted to try it just one time, and the opportunity came up because it was on the 777 specials that Sandals Resorts shares each week. What makes it even more fun is our friends from St. Lucia are coming to Antigua for the first time and also opted for this room category because of the sale. They have trusted me with their travel plans, so I can’t wait for them to experience it firsthand. We haven’t seen each other since our trip last August to Sandals St. Vincent’s, and I can’t wait to catch up on life in person, instead of through just phone calls and messages.

So much to look forward to on this vacation.
Also sprinkled in this Summer are numerous rock concerts and sporting events. I am also considering a late Fall vendor show for the business in my area to round out the travel portion of my year. Many opportunities to make some connections and keep up with business. It’s hard right now with the current climate, so I am doing my best to adapt and continue with this job that I love so much.
So that’s my update for March. I have some posts coming up over the next few weeks about Sandals & Beaches Resorts, so make sure you stop in and check. I am also going to be starting a monthly email update, so if you haven’t signed up, take a moment to do so through this link.
Here’s to an amazing April. Hopefully the weather cooperates and starts to warm up and be sunny. I desperately need it! Until next month, sending you beach breezes and sunny days!

Oh goodness; you are going to have SO MUCH fun at Disney! It’s amazing how much changes each time we go (and we tend to go every couple of years). We try to stay a different resort each time since they are all themed out so well and have different vibes. Honestly our favorite snacks are dole whip floats (pineapple with vanilla) & Mickey bars (just a plain vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate).. but we’ve enjoyed so many meals and treats all around the world.
I am definitely looking forward to Dole Whip again, that is for sure! I love eating my way around Epcot, and I can’t wait to try the Skyliner!
How lovely that you get to visit Disney World and stay in a resort hotel. I’ve never been there, but I think it will feel quite magical.
Normally we stay offsite at a good neighbor hotel, so this is a first for us. I am excited to be there to learn as much as I can!
Your anniversary trip in May sounds idyllic! It’s great for your clients that you experience resorts first hand with your own money, and can therefore give the best advice. Thanks for linking at #TuesdayTwirl.
We love our vacations to Sandals Resorts so much. It is so relaxing and you don’t have to think about much.
