Seaside Haven With Shoreline Journeys: Last Major Vacation For 2025
Happy Sunday everyone! It’s been a few weeks since I shared some of the personal stuff going on in my world. It’s been busy with travels, and we have one more major trip that we are going on this year. It’s hard to believe that it is almost here already.
It seems like the Summer is absolutely flying by this year. We finally had a few days of sun in PA, but I was pretty busy most of those days helping with clients to get booked on trips or to get ready for upcoming trips. I love this part of my job. You can absolutely feel the excitement!

This is the first time in a while that we have had sun for more than 2 days in a row. I need to get all our laundry outside so that it’s ready to be put back in the suitcases for our next trip. We also managed to finally get all the weeds pulled and cut down from the crazy rain and heat. I need to get to Lowe’s this week to get mulch to hopefully help with that.
Currently Going On In My World
It’s been a busy week getting to know new clients, and helping my current ones. I have to say, I really love helping the younger clients heading out on their honeymoon to find a great room type that fits in their budget. I love all the excitement and enthusiasm that they display, and it brings me joy to get all the pieces together for them.

I am also seeing an uptick in clients wanting to add additional adventures to their bookings. From sunset catamarans to private candlelight dinners, it helps to make these vacations unforgettable. John and I recently started adding excursions to our trips as well, so I understand the appeal. I am still not a spa gal though, no matter how many times the spa ladies approach me on resort. But for those that do, there is a great promo going on until July 28th for $175 in spa credit. Message me to find out more.

We are recently back from Sandals Royal Bahamian. I will share more about our experience in the coming months, but I wanted to share a few pictures of the highlights from our trip. This resort is definitely good for a shorter trip, and the convenience of clearing customs in Nassau cannot be beat.

The private island is the hidden (or not so hidden) gem of this resort, and the updated menu that is now Parisol Beach Club (formerly the Aralia House) was absolutely amazing.

The conch salad and the smashburger cannot be missed!

Coming Up In The World Of Travel
Now that I shared a little bit of my random thoughts, let’s talk a little bit about our upcoming vacation. We are headed to St. Vincent’s and the Grenadines this week to check out the Sandals Resort on the island. Our first time here, and we are absolutely thrilled.
I am especially looking forward to this resort. One of the newest to the chain, and new dining experiences to look forward to. Was happy to get our pre-arrival dining reservation at Butch’s Island Chophouse, one of hubs favorite spots.
We are also meeting friends on resort, and exploring a bit of the island together with a group excursion experience. Generally, I am not one to want to leave the resort, but it is super fun to be doing it with a bunch of people and not feel so isolated or alone. We met these friends in 2021 at Sandals Grande St. Lucian at the returning guest dinner, and it will be great to see them again.
And, of course, hubs and I get to enjoy our favorite room category: a swim up suite! Make sure you follow along on my Facebook and Instagram channels for resort photos and goings on!
New & Recent On The Blog
I did manage to find a little bit of time to write this week, so here are some of the posts I have shared. I love traveling but it really cuts into writing time.

What To Expect From The Blog In The Coming Months
Now that all of my travel is coming to a close, I will be able to sit down and really share about our resort experiences. Right now, this is what I am thinking for as my posting schedule:
September: I will cover our Grenada vacation, including our pre-Sandals hotel experience
October: Will be all about Sandals Royal Bahamian
November: Will be dedicated to our Sandals St. Vincent’s vacation
December: I think I will go back and talk a bit more about our Chicago adventure, including a hotel review and some local sights we did. Wrigley Field definitely needs a post, as well as some of the other local spots.
We are also heading to Seattle in December, so I will share a bit about that, as well. Flying Delta for the first time, so looking forward to that experience, as we have never flown Delta before. Splurged and got Delta One so we have a comfortable trip.
Looking Ahead To Next Year
I am already working on adding new travel plans for next year. We have our May trip back to St. Lucia to enjoy our free week at Sandals Halcyon, and then traveling to Antigua in July with our close friends. I am also working on adding a travel agent trip for March back to Jamaica, and of course we have our Wildwood trip for next June.
That’s it for me this Sunday. I am busy helping clients before signing out for our Sandals St. Vincent’s vacation. I promised hubby I would take some time off on this vacation, and I am going to try. I do have a client that’s coming home from their cruise and one flying to Halcyon for their honeymoon, so I won’t totally be not working. I can’t help it, I try to make sure they make it to & from their destinations so I will be up early making sure that happens.
Have a wonderful rest of the week! I won’t have a post next Sunday, at least I don’t intend to. But if I am up early watching my client’s flights, I might as well write. Until next time!

Hi, Jennifer. It would be so wonderful if I could get my husband to take a vacation. With him working full time and then having the cattle to tend to, not much of an opportunity to go. I can still wish……..
Thank you for sharing!
Take care and best wishes.
Yeah, we have been very blessed with being able to head on vacations. I am keeping good thoughts for you that you will be able to get on a tropical vacation soon!
