Seaside Haven At Shoreline Journeys: Yes I Am Still Alive Edition
Happy Sunday everyone! I know it’s been a while since I shared a personal post, but I promise you, it was for good reason. Summer 2025 turned out to be a very busy one with all the traveling we did. Between that and helping all my wonderful clients, the blog really got away from me. But I promise, I have tons to share and you will start seeing the new content this week.
Someone asked me what my favorite trip was this Summer, and it’s hard to say. If someone pressed me, it would definitely have to be our trip to Sandals St. Vincent’s that we enjoyed with our friends. The resort itself was gorgeous, but having friends there made it even more fun. I can’t wait to share more!

I have to say that doing all this traveling this Summer has made me appreciate how lucky I am to be a home-based travel agent. Having the freedom to schedule my vacations or add vacations has been so freeing! Don’t get me wrong, I do miss some of the things about working at the bookstore, but every day I am even more thankful that I don’t have to leave my home to go to work.
Another Honeymoon Client Is Heading To Sandals Resorts
I am up early today as usual, because I have a lovely honeymoon couple traveling to Sandals St. Vincent’s for their honeymoon. I had the pleasure of getting to know them over the course of the past few months, and I am so excited for them to be enjoying this resort.

A Happy Customer Review
I am being brutally honest when I say that if you have used my travel services, please leave me a review. They truly mean a lot to me and it motivates me to work even harder. I have to share this one from Dison W., who was traveling at the same time we were in St. Vincent’s.
This is one of the main reasons why I specialize in Sandals & Beaches resorts. Because we travel there ourselves, I am better able to help clients with any issues they may be having. I also have an email sequence that I send to clients leading up to their vacations and try to make sure they are as prepared as possible. Having a specialized focus makes it a pleasure to help clients because my opinions are always honest and informed.
I had a Zoom call with clients that are booked and traveling next year, and I was able to answer their questions and concerns. It was a pleasure to do, but what meant the most is how appreciative the clients were for me “taking time out of my day”. That is my job and I love doing it.
How We Spent Labor Day Weekend
Our Labor Day was spent at one of our favorite vacations spots: Wildwood NJ! We went down for just the weekend with just our family and our son’s fiancee and we had a lovely time. We had gone down mainly to see if we could win some of the fabulous drawings at Gateway 26.
While we didn’t win anything, we still had an amazing time. Of course we stayed at our favorite Wildwood motel and it was a great way to close out the Summer 2025 season. We got up early and had breakfast at our favorite restaurant, enjoyed some naps, had some great dinners, and just enjoyed ourselves.
Wildwood is such a great place to be and can’t wait to be back there in June!
Coming Up In September
September is my month that I am dedicating to sharing about the wonderful island of Grenada, and, of course, the Sandals Grenada resort. We absolutely loved our time there and I can’t wait to bring you all kinds of great content. I will also be sharing about the Radisson Grenada, where we stayed prior to going to Sandals.
We made the decision to fly in early so we could spend the entire day on resort because our arrival day was our anniversary. It turned out to be a great choice, and our butlers took amazing care of us. We did our best to stay out of everyone’s way and our evening turned out amazing. I know that we have only had butlers twice, but I really am enjoying the benefits of butler service.
More Things On The Horizon
Over the course of the Winter months, I plan on doing a revamp of the website. I am considering a new theme and color scheme for the blog, but am not really sure. I love how it looks but I feel like it isn’t quite right. I would love some feedback from my readers, so if you have opinions, let’s start a discussion in the comment section. It really is helpful!
