Welcome to another Sunday! I am so excited that it is finally March. And for this lady that loves Spring and all that comes with it (except allergies, of course), I am so excited for everything that March brings. Pretty flowers, green grass, birds singing, and new hope.
Time change and longer evenings. Calendar Spring starts soon, even if PA forgets that and still tries to hang on to Winter. The beginning of March means that we are just that much closer to our next Sandals Resorts vacation. 76 days, but who’s counting, right? Me, I am counting, as always.

The Truth About Seasonal Depression {And How You Should Combat It}
I am someone that craves sunlight and Winter really does something to me. I know that some people don’t believe in seasonal depression, but I know it is a real thing. It always hits me so hard, especially when you combine it with retail holiday season. Working late nights and being away from my family always hits me so hard and I don’t feel like doing anything.
Now that I am working from home and setting my own hours, I am finding it is getting better each day. Getting my house under control has helped, as has the smaller numbers until our Sandals Grenada vacation.
Time change is next week, and I really can’t wait. I feel like I function better with a shorter day and longer daylight hours, so I am all ready for it. We are also working on putting the final touches on our Chicago baseball weekend in April. Can’t wait to check off a new baseball stadium. We saw the Phillies last year in September when we went on our Beaches Turks & Caicos adventure. Last time were in Chicago was for a pizza pit stop in 2013, so I am looking forward to spending a weekend exploring.

I have been to every Sandals Resort in Jamaica, so I can help you choose the perfect one. I am chomping at the bit to be back but have to wait until 2027, when we head back to Sandals Royal Caribbean for our 30th wedding anniversary and vow renewal.
We did a vow renewal for our 20th and it was such an amazing experience. I can truly say that I loved it more than our own wedding. Our wedding was lovely, but it was dictated by my parents. Our vow renewal was all ours and I can’t wait to do it again!

February 2025Jen was an excellent travel agent. Our previous travel agent doesn’t come close to what we experienced with Jen. She was very knowledgeable about every aspect of our trip. Especially, being it was international, which was very helpful, and no doubt saved us time and hiccups. You can tell she truly cares about your experience. She recognizes people are busy, and was great with reminder texts, ensuring emails were received, and time sensitive forms were completed.

One Final Thought
There is someone else that is really happy about my new career choice. My big, goofy, orange cat Fred has been in absolute cat nirvana because “Mommy” is home all the time now. My lap is not my own anymore, I am now permanent cat furniture. And I am loving every minute of it.
