Seaside Haven With Shoreline Journeys: Last Sunday In June
Happy Sunday! I can’t believe it’s the last Sunday in June already. This Summer is moving at such a fast pace that it is hard to believe. I think it’s because we have been traveling so much more than what we would normally. It seems like I am always updating our countdown blocks, which is not something that I am used to doing.
But to be honest, I don’t mind it at all. This is the one year anniversary of Shoreline Journeys website, and my one year anniversary for completing my training as a travel agent. I look back at it now and think I was so scared of stepping out of my comfort zone and learning something new. I had no idea what was going to happen or if I would succeed.

But here I am a year later, and so much has changed. As much as I loved working at the bookstore, I wasn’t happy anymore. Too many changes with moving the store multiple times, not having enough time in the department that brought me so much joy, and the continued being tossed into an area that stressed me out beyond belief finally all added up.
I was terrified the day that I handed in my resignation in February because I was stepping away from the known into a whole new way of life. But it turned out to be the best decision for me. I love making my own hours and my own schedule, and not having to feel guilty about taking time off to attend a concert or missing time on the weekends with my family.
I love helping couples find their perfect Sandals Resorts vacation, all while getting to enjoy mine without feeling guilty. While it is still scary sometimes when leads are slow or people brush off all your hard work and just disappear, I enjoy it so much. Having time to work on the website has been great as well, and I want to increase my posts from 3 times a week to 5 starting in August.
With 3 new resorts for us this year, I have so much to share with all my readers and I can’t wait. But enough talk about my life changes, let’s jump into this week’s recap with a brief rundown of our favorite Summer vacation in Wildwood NJ.
Post Wildwood Vacation Recap {And An Exciting Announcement}
I have to say that Wildwood NJ beach vacation 2025 went by even faster than normal. It was a great trip, and I am so grateful that my in-laws take us every Summer. It was great to visit all of our favorite places to eat and our favorite places to play. This year was even better, as our son’s girlfriend joined us for this trip for the first time. She got to enjoy our favorite Summer vacation and I think she will remember it for a long time.
Why, you ask? Well, for months I have been sitting on some very important news. I knew that something very exciting was going to happen and I feel honored that I got to witness a very special moment as the designated photographer. My son proposed to his girlfriend on the beach, and she said yes!

I am so happy for both of them. They make each other happy and such an exciting time for them. I am happy that I got to witness this important moment in my son’s life, and now it’s my turn to be the wonderful in-law to her like my mother-in-law is to me. I won’t lie, I had tears in my eyes when it happened, it’s hard not to when your first-born takes such an important life step.
In any case, we had a wonderful vacation and are already booked to return next year!!

Almost Time For Our Next Sandals Resorts Vacation
Have you heard about Sandals Royal Bahamian? It’s one of those resorts where everything just feels effortlessly amazing. One thing that totally stands out is the private offshore island you get to visit. It’s a little slice of paradise with its own beach bar and some seriously gorgeous spots to relax.
Plus, the rooms there are beautiful. Some even have swim-up pools or butler service which feels super fancy but not in an over-the-top way. The vibe is really chill but still luxurious, with all these lush gardens and ocean views that make you want to just kick back and forget time exists.
Oh, and the food there is a whole experience by itself. They have a bunch of different restaurants from classic steakhouse vibes to Caribbean flavors, and everything is included which is awesome because you can try a bit of everything without worrying about the bill. There is also an amazing spa if you want to get pampered, and plenty of water activities like snorkeling and paddleboarding right at your doorstep. Whether you are in the mood to relax by the pool or explore underwater, it is like the perfect spot to unwind and feel like royalty for a few days.

I’m actually heading to Sandals Royal Bahamian soon for a travel agent resort inspection and I want to get the full inside scoop to help make your trip even better. What are you most curious about? Maybe you want to know more about the dining options and how delicious and varied they really are, or how the butler service works in real life.
You might be interested in how easy it is to get from the main resort to the private island or what the rooms are really like up close. I also plan to check out the pools and see what kinds of activities and entertainment they offer. Just let me know what you want to hear about and I’ll be sure to get all the details you need to plan the perfect getaway.

I am starting to wrap up my Summer Wildwood NJ blog series, as I am really ready to jump back into writing about Sandals and Beaches Resorts. Starting in the middle of August, I will be writing about our recent trip to Sandals Grenada. We absolutely loved our time there, and I can’t wait to go back.
