Seaside Haven With Shoreline Journeys: Goodbye September
Happy last Sunday in September blog friends! It seems a little bit crazy that we are in the final few days of this month. I really can’t believe how fast this month went. I say this especially because we only were away for two days over Labor Day weekend and did no other traveling.
Summer is still holding on strong in PA, and for the first time in forever, I am ready for the cooler weather. Normally all I do is say that I can’t wait for Summer and the warmth, but I am ready for the crisp nights and open windows. I have having fun helping clients plan their Sandals Resorts vacations, and would love open windows to go with it.

I know I might sound like a broken record when I say this, but I can’t even begin to say how grateful I am to be working from home as a travel agent. For the first time since I started working (I was 16 when I got my first retail job), I am not dreading the holiday season. I am looking forward to decorating and enjoying the holiday and that is saying a lot.
Don’t get me wrong, I will still be working because I have clients that are traveling during the holidays, and I am always available to them. The biggest difference is that I don’t have to leave my family to do it. I will have my laptop with me and my notes readily available. I can work from anywhere, and that makes a huge difference.
I love my Original Snow Village Christmas holiday house collection, but I hardly ever got to enjoy them except on my days off. Now that I am home-based for work, I can help clients and write posts, all while enjoying their cozy lights. It may seem like a small thing, but when you thrive when you are with your family, it makes a difference. Once I am all decorated in November, I will post some pictures for you to see how HUGE my collection is!
Another Newlywed Couple Heading To Sandals St. Vincent’s
I had another couple that left yesterday for Sandals St. Vincent’s to enjoy their honeymoon. This couple also benefited from me getting them a club level room for less than the luxury level room we originally booked them in. Because of that, they were able to add spa and excursions to the honeymoon for the most amazing experience.

They are pretty excited to enjoy all the restaurants there. I can’t say I disagree, the food was generally good there. Being able to enjoy it with our close friends really made it an even better experience. I can’t wait until July 2026 when we are all back together in Antigua for another vacation together!

Celebrated our friends’ birthdays at dinner was so much fun. It was good food, a relaxing atmosphere, and time to relax and recharge. I am so thrilled to be doing it again with this lovely bunch in 2026.
I know that N & M are going to love their time here. My other couple that returned from here earlier in the month can’t stop talking about what an amazing vacation it was. And their kind words for me made it even better!

Coming Up In October
I am a little bit behind in my travel postings for Grenada for September, so I will be continuing the series into October before I move into sharing about Sandals Royal Bahamian. I wanted to give my readers more than just resort information, so I added some posts about the island itself. It is definitely going to bring more to my readers to know about the island they are visiting. The first of the Sandals Grenada posts will be showing up this week, so make sure you stop in and visit.
I am looking forward to talking about the Bahamas, as well. We miss Sandals Emerald Bay, as that resort and the beach and the water there was unbelievable. They are currently turning that resort into Beaches Exuma, so that families can enjoy the space. Looking forward to taking our adult kids there because we had such a good time at Beaches Turks & Caicos, and my youngest wants to golf there with my husband. That golf course was amazing!

It’s been a great week for me, and I have a busy week going forward! And I am anxiously awaiting next Sunday when we get to visit the Linc for football. The energy there just can’t be explained, you just have to experience it for yourself! I will be another year older that day, so having the game to distract from it is a huge bonus!
Time to sign off for the morning, as we have a busy day. Have a wonderful Sunday and Go Birds!
