Room and Suite Guide: Finding Your Perfect Fit at Sandals Grenada
When you are planning a romantic vacation, the room you choose can make all the difference. Sandals Grenada rooms and suites are designed with romance in mind, but each category offers a very different experience. Some are perfect for total privacy, some keep you close to the beach, and others strike a balance between comfort and value. This guide walks you through all the options so you can book a room that matches your travel style, your celebration, and your budget.
As many of my readers know, my husband and I have been vacationing at Sandals Resorts since 1997, when we went on our honeymoon. But it wasn’t until 2017 after we went back for our 20th anniversary that we started traveling yearly. We have now morphed into multiple trips per year, and Sandals Grenada has bounced to the top of my list.

One of the biggest, and often hardest decisions when you are planning your Sandals Resorts vacation is to know which room is right for you. That’s where I come in, both as a professional travel agent and as a client who has stayed in many of these rooms. Today I am discussing some of the room options at Sandals Grenada to get you started.
Before I dig deeper into this guide for the available rooms at Sandals Grenada, let’s talk about some of the frequent questions you might have about picking the right room at Sandals Grenada. After that, I will jump right into the room choices, starting with the butler suites.
Questions About Rooms and Suites at Sandals Grenada
When it comes to booking the right room at Sandals Grenada, guests often wonder about the finer details that can affect their stay. Here are some of the most common questions couples ask before choosing their suite.
Club Level rooms include concierge service, access to the Club Sandals Lounge, and an upgraded in-room bar. Butler Level suites go a step further by offering personalized butler service that can handle everything from unpacking your bags to arranging private dinners. The best choice depends on how much pampering you want during your stay.
Not every category includes a soaking tub. Many of the South Seas and Lover’s Lagoon rooms feature them, and some Pink Gin categories also have tubs on patios or balconies. If this detail is important to you, be sure to check the exact room description when booking.
Rooms in the Pink Gin Village are the most convenient for beach access, especially the Beachfront categories. These let you step out and be on the sand within minutes, which is ideal for couples who plan to spend much of their time by the ocean.
Yes. Rooms in the South Seas Village and Lover’s Lagoon Village tend to feel more private and serene. They are set back from the main entertainment areas, which makes them a great option if you want peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings away from the activity.
You cannot reserve a particular room number in advance, but you can select the exact category and village when booking. That choice determines the type of location and amenities you’ll receive, such as oceanfront, poolside, or garden views. As your TA, I can request a room but it is not a guarantee.
Choosing the right room is one of the most personal parts of planning a Sandals Grenada getaway, and it often sets the tone for the entire trip. Now that you have an idea of what to expect, the rest of this series will guide you through dining, activities, and all the special touches that make the resort unforgettable.

Features to Consider Before Booking Your Room
Choosing the right room at Sandals Grenada is about more than falling for a pretty photo online. It’s about finding the space that matches the way you want your vacation to feel. One of the first things to think about is location. Staying near the beach and entertainment areas makes it easy to join the action, but you may also hear music or activity into the evening. If peaceful mornings and quiet evenings are more your style, the South Seas Village or Lover’s Hideaway area might be a better fit with their garden surroundings and tucked-away setting.
The view from your room is another detail that can really shape your stay. Oceanfront rooms offer unforgettable scenery and the perfect backdrop for coffee at sunrise or a glass of wine at sunset. They also tend to be priced higher. Garden view rooms, on the other hand, are more budget-friendly and often feel calm and secluded. Think about the moment you’ll step outside each morning and whether you’d prefer the sound of waves or the quiet of swaying palms.

Amenities also play a big part in the overall experience. A soaking tub on the balcony can turn an ordinary evening into something romantic, and a private plunge pool can give you your own quiet retreat in the middle of the day. It’s worth checking whether your category includes extras like a stocked in-room bar, a sitting area, or a walk-out patio. Small details like these often make a big difference in how much you enjoy your downtime.
Convenience is another factor couples sometimes overlook. Some suites are located on upper floors and involve a bit of walking or stairs, but reward you with wide, sweeping views. Others are ground-level walkouts that make it easy to move between your room, the pool, and the beach without much effort. If accessibility or simplicity matters most to you, choosing a location closer to dining and activities may make your stay more enjoyable.
Finally, it helps to think about the level of service that will make you most comfortable. Butler Level suites are wonderful if you’d like someone to handle the details so you can fully relax. Club Level rooms give you concierge access and a few extra perks while still keeping things flexible. Luxury rooms offer everything Sandals includes in a cozy, comfortable space, which makes them ideal for couples who plan to spend more time exploring the resort than staying in their room.

Insider Tips for Choosing Your Suite at Sandals Grenada
Choosing the right suite is about more than just picking the prettiest photo on the website. These insider tips will help you think through the details and book a room that truly matches how you want your vacation to feel.
- Book Early for Premium Suites – Skypool Suites and Rondoval Butler Suites are some of the most sought-after rooms at Sandals Grenada and are often the first to sell out. If you are traveling for a honeymoon or milestone anniversary, it is worth booking as far in advance as possible to secure the exact room and dates you want. Many couples even book a year or more ahead for these suites to make sure nothing is left to chance.
- Consider a Split Stay – A split stay can be a wonderful way to balance luxury with value. Starting your vacation in a Club Level room gives you a comfortable space with concierge perks, then finishing in a Butler suite lets you end your trip on a high note with personalized service and extra touches. Many couples find this approach makes the trip feel even more memorable, since it builds anticipation and gives them two different experiences within the same resort.
- Check Recent Guest Reviews and Photos – Online reviews are a goldmine of information about room location, noise levels, and balcony privacy. Guests often share photos that show the true view from the room and even details like whether the soaking tub is fully private or partially visible from a walkway. Looking at these before you book helps you choose the exact room that matches your comfort level and avoids surprises after you arrive.
- Communicate Your Preferences – If there are certain things that are especially important to you, let your travel advisor know when you book. They can note your preferences for quiet locations, specific villages, or requests for special occasions like birthdays, honeymoons, or anniversaries. The resort team reviews these notes ahead of time and often goes out of their way to personalize your stay, whether that means decorating the room with flowers or reserving a quieter table for dinner.
- Plan Around Flight Times – Travel schedules do not always line up perfectly with check-in and check-out times, but a little planning makes the first and last day of your trip just as enjoyable as the others. If your flight arrives early, pack a swimsuit and sandals in your carry-on so you can head straight to the pool or beach while waiting for your room. If you have a late flight home, check with the front desk to see if shower or changing facilities are available so you can freshen up after spending time at the pool.
- Request the Right Location – Location can make a big difference in how your vacation feels. If you like being near the beach and the restaurants, Pink Gin Village is a great choice because everything is within a short walk. If you prefer a quiet, secluded atmosphere, South Seas Village will give you a more tropical garden setting with less foot traffic. Thinking about your daily routine in advance helps you pick a location that feels convenient rather than stressful.
- Celebrate Your Occasion – If you are traveling for a special reason, make sure to mention it both when you book and again when you check in. Sandals Grenada staff love to celebrate guests and will often add thoughtful touches to your stay like champagne on ice, towel art, or flower petals on the bed. These little extras make your trip feel even more personal and memorable.
Making Your Sandals Grenada Stay Unforgettable
Your room sets the tone for your entire vacation, and Sandals Grenada offers something for every couple’s style. From sky-high suites with private plunge pools to quiet garden hideaways and beachfront rooms with sunset views, every choice creates a different kind of experience.
