Butler Service At Sandals Resorts Allows You To Sleep In

If you have been to any of the resorts, you know that sometimes finding a chair with an umbrella can be a challenge. You need to be up early to find a chair in the spot that makes you the happiest. While I am generally an early riser, even on vacation, I don’t have too much trouble finding the spot I want.

However, if you choose to sleep in on vacation, you may be out of luck when it comes to finding seats. This is where your butlers come in! They will get you a seat, have towels ready for you, and will also have a cooler filled with your preferred drinks.

It is a great perk of being butler level. But please be courteous. If you have butlers save seats for you, please try to start using them by 10 AM. We tend to go to breakfast around 8AM and then we are usually in our chairs after that. Our butler at Sandals Dunn’s River was the greatest. I could be in the pool thinking “I could use something to drink”. And before I could even get out of the pool, there was Tenneil with my drink of choice.

So absolutely worth the extra cost of butler service. Tenneil also got us lunch and had a few delicious snacks thrown in as well.

You Can Get Your Dinner Reservations Without Waiting Around

Dinner reservations are also a hot commodity at Sandals Resorts because the food at the resorts is really good. Especially at some of the restaurants Like Butch’s Steak & Seafood or the hibachi restaurant Kimono’s. Often, they are hard to get into because they are so popular.

This is where butler service at Sandals Resorts pays off. Prior to your arrival, you can put in your butler preferences the days, times, and restaurants that you want, and your butlers can arrange them before your arrival. They are still subject to availability but generally you shouldn’t have any difficulty getting what you want.

When we went to Sandals Dunn’s River, two of the restaurants didn’t need reservations but we still put in our preferred dining times. Our butlers escorted us there and got us a drink and it was really a nice experience. I am looking forward to butler service in Grenada in May 2025, as I hear they are absolutely fantastic! And after our recent trip to Sandals Royal Curaçao, we booked butler service for Antigua in July 2026.

Celebrate Special Occasions Or Nothing In Particular With Butler Service At Sandals Resorts

As I mentioned earlier, we had butler service at Sandals Dunn’s River, and we were traveling the week before my birthday. I made a notation of it in our butler preferences, and Shawne (who is such an amazing person!) had the room decorated before we arrived.

On the night we had my birthday dinner at L’Amande, we came back to a beautifully decorated room.

While the Club Sandals staff will acknowledge a special occasion, it is nothing like some of the wonderful things your butlers will do for you. I truly felt pampered and loved and relaxed. Just another benefit of having butler service and was totally worth the splurge.

Know That You Can Rest & Relax And Still Have The Best Time

If you want to have an on-the-go vacation, your butlers can arrange tours or even get your scheduled for the spa. The butler service will contact you via email before your visit with options for both. You can get everything taken care of and arranged before you ever set foot on the property.

Or, if you are like us, you can opt for a rest & relax kind of stay. We had so many personal things happen in the year prior to our visit that we just wanted to sit by the pool and beach and just read or listen to music. Shawne & Tenneil read our preferences and had us set up exactly to our liking. They checked in on us, but did not hover.

Tenneil picked up on the fact that my favorite vacation color was pink. On our last night, he presented me with a pretty pink flower on our way to dinner. It’s the little things like that make it so perfect!

I always thought that I wasn’t a butler service type of lady. Boy, did I find out that I was wrong. While we won’t travel using butler service with every trip, I do plan on utilizing it for our anniversary week trip and special birthday milestones.

Even that is subject to change. Life is flying by anymore, and I don’t want to look back with regrets and say, “I wish I would have relaxed more on this trip”. Whatever you decide, you know you will have an amazing time at Sandals Resorts.

As a side note, butlers are an exception to the tipping policy at Sandals Resorts, so feel free to show them your appreciation for all their hard work. Average butler tips can run $25-30 per butler per day, so be aware of that when you book the room.
