Beaches Resorts is dedicated to making sure that all guests have access to our facilities. We have specific room categories available for guests with disabilities. Their team of skilled staff members at Beaches Resorts are always ready to cater to your needs and make sure your vacation is nothing short of amazing!
That includes having rooms available that have accommodations for special needs. You can tell a room is made for wheelchairs or other mobility aids when you see this symbol:
There are several options on each resort, and below is a look at what each resort is doing to make their stay more comfortable and, of course, accessible.
Beaches Resorts Accommodations Make Accessibility For Guests Easier
Let’s get into more specific ways each individual resort looks at making vacations accessible to guests with accommodations.
Beaches Turks & Caicos
Here is what Beaches Turks & Caicos provides to promote inclusive and accessible vacations:
- 4 rooms with lowered beds
- Safe and closets lowered
- Steps available
- Roll-in showers
- Rails in bathrooms
- Extended shower heads
- Raised toilet seats and steps
- Bathroom door swings inward and is wheelchair accessible
- All restaurants are accessible with the exception of Sky and Barefoot(can be utilized if beach wheelchair is available)
- There are 6 wheelchairs* and 1 beach wheelchair available. Scooters available at additional cost**
*A wheelchair deposit of US$100 is required.
**Available for rent at a cost of US$25 per day and a one-time deposit of US$600.
The resort has complete wheelchair accessibility, including ramps to the beach and throughout the entire property. Every room and bathroom door in the resort is designed to be wheelchair accessible.
Beaches Negril
Here are the key accessibility features that Beaches Negril provides their guests:
- There are 8 accessible rooms at this resort
- Be aware, no roll-in showers
- Shower rails in bathrooms
- Handrails by toilets
- Freestanding sinks that can accommodate a wheelchair
- Shower seat and bath wands are available
- 3 regular and 3 beach wheelchairs available
- Beach is also accessible
The following restaurants are wheelchair accessible:
- Stew Fish
- The Mill
- Kimonos
- Arizonas
- Bar.B.Q
- Cafe de Paris
- Soy
- Dino
Beaches Ocho Rios
Please be aware, Beaches Ocho Rios is the least accessible of the resorts, but still offers many great things. Don’t be discouraged, just know before you go. You can always speak with your travel advisor or the resort if you have any questions.

- These two rooms have wheelchair accessible doors
- Bench available
- Handrails
- Adjusted faucets & raised toilet seats
- Shower stool provided*
- Bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible, but Beaches is actively working to come up to code
- 1 beach wheelchair
- 1 wheelchair for short term use
- Motorized scooters available at additional cost**

- Bayside
- BBQ Park
- The Venetian
